5 Minute Lemon Rasam
Lemon - 1 big
Tomatto - 1 big
Curry Leaves - 10
Coriander Leaves
Turmeric - 1/4 spoon
Asafoetida - 2 pinch
Pepper Powder - 3/4 spoon
Jeera Powder - 1 and 1/2 spoon
Salt to taste
Garlic - 4 pieces
Green Chilli - 1
Red Chilli - 1
Mustard Seeds
Urud Dal - 1 spoon
Step A
Take Juice from Lemon and Make tomatto as a paste.Both can be mixed together.
Step B
Crush the Garlic and Green Chilli.Mix Asafoetida(one pinch) along with Curry Leaves,Pepper ,Jeera Powder,Salt and Turmeric.Add this to Step A.Check for spice level and salt.
Step C
Pour two spoons of Oil in the pan and then put Mustard seeds and then urud dal and then one pinch of Asafoetida.Then add the stuff prepared in Step B to Step C.Let it boil once.Once it boils put the Coriander leaves.
Step D
5 Minute Lemon Rasam is ready for serving.

hi joe,
We usually squeeze lemon at the end to avoid bitterness and to retain vitamin C. Bcoz in heat properties of lemon goes. Infact we squeeze lemon after we remove it form fire only. I keep visiting ur site. Today thought of leaving my comment.

I tried this. I didnt expect this rasam to be so tasty and so good. The best rasam i have had so far.
